Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to define the overall alumni strategy for the alumni community in international alumni communities, international alumni programs ( MBA, GEMBA, AMP,) and regional chapters assigned .
  • Planning the sharing calendar of activities, together with the AD alumni team
  • Actively engages with chapter boards and other stakeholders ( Programs, advancement, CDC,CMC,) enabling leaders of the local alumni community to independently lead and initiate activities relevant to the
  • Ensures that a robust succession planning is in place for the chapters and their governance
  • Partners with senior leaders, IT, other entities within IESE to enhance the campus experience of current students who are the critical element since they make up the future alumni pipeline.
  • Aligns objectives and delivers performance reviews for direct reports (managers and coordinators).
  • Tracks results and execution of priority projects based on the plans of the Alumni team based in Barcelona, reporting to the Alumni Director.
  • Initiates best practice sharing, benchmarking, and drives selected and prioritized improvement opportunities, if needed.
  • Commercial responsibilities in membership convertion and entrance of new alumni members from MBA and C-suite ExecEd Programs ( AMP, GEMBA, among others)
  • Capable to engage and work transversally with the Advancement team and strategy to cultivate engagement of the alumni community in his areas and chapters under his responsability

Requisitos

 

  • Team player with a consumer mindset (i.e. global alumni) and strong business acumen.
  •  Business know-how of end-to-end operations.
  • Proven ability to leverage functional expertise to deliver results especially in Marketing, Sales, and Communications.
  • High skills in Communications and delivery of presentations to different stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of project management as well as strong MS Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), skills on Data Analytics is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical and computation skills, and ability to root cause, problem solve and drive solutions
  • Proven collaboration skills and excellent oral and written communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of seniority.
  • Ability to mediate, convince and build consensus between cross-functional stakeholders with different objectives.
  • Ability to work in a primarily academic environment with different international cultures.
  • Business- and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage wide range of complex assignments and/or projects on a global-level, with an acute understanding of the business´ key priorities.
  • Confident, positive, and self-starter with proactive mindset.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  IESE alumni is a must in the position and ideal MBA/ EMBA as the position requires to constantly manage different generations and alumni from these programs. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management and or engineer from a College or University or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in one or more roles – Marketing, Sales, Communications, Events Management, or Business Strategy in a global company, ideally in the higher education or hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrate ability to scale and experience in working with cross-functional teams in a transversal reporting structure (i.e. combined direct and non-direct reports)
  • Demonstrate ability to convince stakeholders and negotiate in different scenarios through clear and coherent interpretation of available data and context.
  • Fluent in English, and/or Spanish, other European Language/s is a plus.
  • Proof of training in Project Management or any events management tools and Business Intelligence platforms or databases in a data-driven organization.
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time.
