IESE offers MBA, Executive MBA, Master’s in Management, and PhD degree programs and non-degree executive education programs.  The full-time degree programs take place in Madrid and Barcelona campuses. Executive education, both open enrollment and custom programs, are offered at all campuses. 

IESE opened its New York campus in midtown Manhattan in 2010. In and from there it runs custom programs for leadership development of Fortune 100 companies in finance, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, logistics, media, retail, and technology.

 

Main Responsibilities

IESE is looking to hire an Associate Director of Custom Programs for our New York campus.

The main role of the director is to sell, design and deliver custom executive education programs that meet the unique needs of leading global organizations in a manner aligned to IESE’s mission.  The director must establish and build the relationships between executive education staff, IESE faculty, and potential client partners to manage program development from conception to implementation. Success in this position requires the ability to understand CEO agendas, strategic management challenges, and organizational transformation needs to create impactful learning journeys for senior executives

 

Tasks:

1. Business development: Proactively identify and engage organizations, including multinational corporations, family businesses, and non-profits, to present and sell strategic, high impact custom programs. Develop a strategic target plan that aligns with IESE’s mission, regional focus, and faculty expertise.

2. Client Needs Assessment: Collaborate with IESE faculty and client stakeholders to analyze organizational goals, culture, and leadership challenges. Design transformational programs that align with CEO priorities and drive transformational, positive impact for participants and their organizations.

3. Program Implementation: Ensure seamless delivery of programs and care for participants by supervising logistical details, including facilities, materials, and schedules. Monitor program delivery to ensure alignment with objectives and make real-time adjustments as necessary for maximum impact. As needed, identify and prepare international venues for program delivery.

4. Relationship Management: Maintain high-touch relationships with corporate executives, HR leaders, faculty, and external partners such as other universities or training and development organizations. Provide a boutique-level approach to relationship management to ensuring client, faculty, and partner satisfaction.

5. Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the organization or supervisor.

 

Requirements

 Education and experience:

  • The candidate must have an excellent professional track record and preferably experience in executive development, management consulting, or organizational transformation.
  • Master’s degree in business or education from a top ranking European or American school preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development.
  • Experience in consulting or executive development and particularly with international clients highly valued.
  • Experience with learning methodologies and on-line program implementation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
