Role Overview 

The Associate Director for MiM Admissions plays a pivotal role in promoting the program and managing relationships with candidates, corporate contacts, and alumni. This position involves organizing promotional events, managing the admissions process, and ensuring exceptional candidate experience. The role requires travel to strengthen relationships and promote the MiM program. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Student Recruitment: Drive student applications and maintain class enrollment. 
  • Event Management: Organize and oversee promotional events, including planning, execution, and post-event analysis. 
  • Brand Presence: Ensure IESE’s presence and image are consistently strong across targeted regions and demographics. 
  • Budget Management: Ensure compliance with expense budgets. 
  • Project Delivery: Complete specific departmental projects as assigned by the Area Director. 
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key corporate contacts and alumni. 

Requirements

Duties 

1) Planning & Execution:   

  • Develop a strategic plan in collaboration with the department director. 
  • Organize promotional events, including selecting locations, target audiences, and marketing channels. Measure the success of each event through cost analysis and attendance metrics. 
  • Maintain a detailed event database to streamline planning for future events. 
  • Come up with unique strategies and be responsible for all the MiM Admission’s women initiative to order to boost women participation in the program. 

2) Admissions Process: 

  • Ensure the admissions process is executed efficiently and aligns with the highest standards. 
  • Collaborate with alumni to enhance candidate engagement at events. 
  • Regularly review and refine interview processes and materials to ensure consistency and quality. 
  • Personalize candidate communications to foster a strong connection with IESE. 

3) Marketing & Media: 

  • Set regional media targets in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications teams. 
  • Provide insights on ad placements, messaging, and design for promotional materials. 
  • Oversee the creation of brochures, prospectuses, and other marketing collateral, working closely with the Marketing team. 

4) Technology & Innovation: 

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Business Partner to implement new technologies and initiatives that enhance admissions outcomes. 
  • Lead specific projects aimed at improving results in targeted regions. 

5) Team Collaboration: 

  • Engage and motivate Area Coordinators, ensuring high performance. 
  • Take on internal projects beyond your immediate area of responsibility as needed. 

 

Requirements 

  • Graduate degree required; MBA/EMBA from IESE preferred. Fluency in English is essential. 
  • Experience in Sales Management, Project Management, and international client relationship management. 
  • International travel to address admission needs is a requirement. 
  • Proven experience in organizing and managing sales and promotional events. 
  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and interview skills. 
  • Ability to manage the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry through to enrollment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate contacts and alumni. 
  • Strong strategic planning and commercial development skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with CRM technologies (e.g Salesforce) and other relevant systems is a nice to have but not mandatory.
