The IESE Career Development Center (CDC) is looking for a person with a strong passion for working with people who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working with business school students and companies from all over the world means that no day will be the same. We’re looking a MBA degree from a top tier ranked school (preferably IESE).
As the Associate Director responsible for tech, you would be responsible for:
- Building and reinforcing the IESE brand with employers by developing new and extending existing recruiter relationships.
- Facilitate connections between students with potential companies and recruiters.
- Preparing candidates interested in a career in tech to succeed in their recruiting processes.
Main Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Develop and execute an employer outreach strategy, targeting specific employers in selected geographies and sectors considering current student’s interests and industry trends to maximize recruiting opportunities for our students.
- Elaborate and execute an annual plan for existing companies recruiting on campus, with company specific hiring objectives, recruiting timelines, networking events, and preparation.
- Conduct proactive outreach calls, and visits, to corporate partners and new business leads to reinforce relationship and seek new job opportunities.
- Facilitate employers' participation in recruiting events, including Career Fairs, company presentations, skill workshops, and any other events to facilitate student and employer
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and marketing plan to promote IESE talent and increase the volume and geographic diversity of recruiters and job postings.
Student Advisory and Mentoring
- Create and execute a yearly preparation plan for tech that includes the delivery of sectorial and company workshops and information sessions to help prepare students for application processes and interviews.
- Deliver one-on-one counseling to support students seeking an internship or full-time job including:
- Job search guidance (self-knowledge, networking, action plan)
- Professional brand development (CV, cover letter, LinkedIn)
- Sectorial and company information
- Interview preparation (mock interviews)
- Facilitate networking with Alumni and companies
- Develop and share knowledge about industry hiring trends, profile requirements and recruitment expectations of core clients.
- Mentor MBA students and sectorial clubs throughout the academic year.
Special projects
- Manage and deliver special projects related to the Career Development Center. For example: employment reports, ranking statistics, visa requirements, career search platforms, etc.
